Research Nodes
The e-Social Science programme has established 8 nodes around the UK with expertise in applying advanced ICT to applied social science and studying the adoption of e-Science technology. These groups are developing and exploiting e-Science technologies, methodologies and infrastructure in the context of substantive social and economic research problems, and advancing our understanding of the sociology of research technologies.
They are creating new capabilities in statistics, data fusion, data curation, analysing datasets, crowd-sourcing, visualisation, analysing interviews and interactions, collaboration environments, internet-delivered interventions and social simulation.
